EU-US Trade Agreement: "In terms of energy, this 'deal' is only worth its hype"

The trade agreement signed on July 27 in Scotland between the Trump administration and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, marks a strategic turning point: in addition to non-reciprocal 15% US tariffs on European imports, Brussels has committed to purchasing $750 billion (€638 billion) of American energy over three years. This pact raises serious questions about the future of the Union's energy sovereignty.
